CRACK, created in 2005 by Chris Farris, Karl Jones, and Shea Van Horn, is a non-profit 501(c)3 theater collaborative that is best described as a "low budget mess of stage and screen." CRACK variety shows combine live performance, videos, and audience participation, and are hosted by a potty-mouthed drag queen named Summer Camp.

Crack events draw a cross-section of Washington's communities and provide an opportunity for local LGBT and LGBT-friendly artists, performers, and designers who have fallen through the "cracks" of traditional theater to showcase their hidden (and sometimes questionable) talents. CRACK has carved out a unique niche in DC's performance scene, having produced cabaret shows and short films that have been described as "irreverent," "over-the-top," "raunchy," and "sophomoric."

FASTEN YOUR SEATBELTS! CRACK RETURNS TO THE STAGE ON DECEMBER 7, 2013
This time Summer Camp, Chris, and Karl are going on a trip and they're taking you with them. Traveling has become so uncivilized... but this might take that to a whole new level.
