Bear Happy Hour
Every Friday, Town hosts The DC Bear Crue Happy Hour from 6-11pm. DC’s manliest Happy Hour features hundreds of men, a relaxed atmosphere, specials on draft beer, great conversation, and fun music. 21 and over. No cover charge. Everyone is welcome to stay all night for dancing. The club opens to the general public at 10pm.
Nightly Drag Show
Every Friday and Saturday Town hosts Washington’s premier Drag Show. A cabaret style performance featuring the area’s top female-illusionist entertainers. Unlike many “drag” shows, Town offers a wide range of performance styles - from classic female illusion to all out comedy to amazingly choreographed production numbers. Address: Town is located at 2009 8th St NW (basically at the corner of 8th and U Streets NW) The nearest Metro is the Green Line Metro: African American Civil War Memorial/Cardozo stop - be aware that the Metro stops running at this stop at 2:35am on the weekends.
Parking: Town has its own parking lot adjacent to the club (to the left if you are facing the front door of the club.) Lot parking costs $15. There is a lot of street parking within three to four blocks of the club.
Hours: Though the opening times for various events is different - and that information is on our home page - the closing time times are dictated by the party. As long as the party has life, the club will stay open. However, last call is at 2:40am on the weekends and there is no entry to the club after 2:45am.
Payment Methods: Town accepts cash or credit cards (Visa or Mastercard only) at the front door for your admission payment - BUT, we only accept cash at the bars. There are multiple ATMs in the club for your convenience.
IDs: Town only accepts government issued IDs for entry: Driver's Licenses, Military IDs, or Passports. We do not accept college IDs.
Dress Code: Town does not have a dress code.
Coat Check: Town provides a coat check for you to place your coats, bags, and umbrellas. This coat check is available almost every night we are open. The charge to check an item is $3. If you have left an item in coat check, please contact us by email.
