Once a year, Town replaces it's regularly programmed drag show with CRACK, an unusually complicated to describe stage show featuring "singing" and "dancing" and other "artistic" performances. If you are a fan of our regular drag show, you may want to check it out...but you have been warned!
CRACK is back, and this time, we're going to prison.
In its tenth year as DC’s most absurd, ridiculous, and offensive performance group, CRACK returns to the stage on Saturday, May 2, with "ORANGE IS THE NEW CRACK."
This show finds Summer Camp sent to prison for a murder she may or may not have committed. While incarcerated, she meets a motley crew of prisoners including show co-creators Chris Farris and Karl Marks, plus performers Rumor Millz, Jaxknife, Salvadora Dali, Champagne Supernova, Troye, Rene' PorcelainDahl, Aaron Riggins, Grant Barker, and more.
Don't miss this over-the-top show. Doors at Town open at 9 PM, and the show starts at 10 PM. Audience members are encouraged to arrive early if they want a seat as cabaret seating is limited, with plenty of standing room available.
Anyone with a craving for the bizarre and shocking, should not miss this special performance event that only happens a couple times each year. As usual, the show combines amazing drag performances, audience participation, and improvisation while embracing CRACK’s warped sense of humor and penchant for the profane. Tickets (available at the door) are $10 and include entrance to Town after the show, where DJ Matt Bailer (MIXTAPE, PEACH PIT) will be spinning upstairs.
